It used to be that there were so many careers out there that were catered exclusively towards men only that would discriminate against any women that had an interested in certain job fields. Eventually attitudes changed and more and more women would infiltrate male dominated work fields such as sports, medicine, law and real estate jobs.

While there is still a bit of a gender divide when it comes to certain jobs you won't find such a thing in the world of real estate. A career in real estate, either as an agent that sells commercial lots or as a real estate analyst, is perfect for both men and women!

If you're still on the fence about your career path and haven't decided yet what you want to do with the rest of your life then we would like to recommend a real estate career. There aren't too many careers out there as awesome as one in the real estate industry that doesn't entail a four-year university or college degree and that also pays handsomely.

Most high paying careers such as doctor or lawyer require that you endure a lot of schooling, sometimes even a decade's worth, before you even get to enter the field and start to make money that you can use to pay off your student debt. If you want a career that you can jump right into then one involving real estate services is one that you should be considering.

In order for you to become a real estate agent you will still have to take some sort of formal training program but it's nothing like a typical college or university student's workload. Real estate training involves you having to study about the world of real estate on various topics such as commission fees, curb appeal, how to negotiate a sale, home showings, commercial real estate, etc., in a classroom setting for about 100 hours.

Once you're training is completed you will have to take a real estate licensing exam. If you pass the exam you'll become a licensed real estate agent and can start interviewing with agents or agencies to try and land yourself a real estate job. A real estate career is truly as simple as we mentioned and if it sounds like something you'd be interested in then take a look to see if there are any real estate training programs in your area.
